Nkangala TVET College (Top of the World) Training Centre produces the first group of two qualified Artisans on its pilot programme.

Both started apprenticeship the same time in 2015 June and officially qualified as artisan this September 19, 2017. Their twenty‐six months (26) programme entailed a fourteen (14) months on job training with the host employer at Flexi Steel (Klarinet Industrial). The remaining period of twelve (12) months they were full time in the training centre (Top of the World) doing trade theory and practicals phase‐1 (Generic trade practice), phase‐2 (Intermediate trade practice) and phase‐3 (Advanced trade practice).

The centre currently have fifty‐four (54) apprenticeships undergoing training in preparation for artisanship and are expected to be qualified Artisans in the near future. Top of the World Training Centre is a qualified Service Development Provider, fully accredited with QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations) to produce certified qualified artisans, and so are our Assessors and Moderators.
